Are you passionate about the Right of the People to Self-Protection? Are you looking for a program put together by a group of firearms instructors with over 150 years of combined experience in teaching armed and unarmed self-defense. These instructors have trained all walks of life from special operations, law enforcement, to John Q citizen.

The integrity of this program rests with the instructors who administer it. You can test your students, and you can also hold training sessions to help your students reach their goals. Both sessions are money makers for you.

You will have access to all the materials and resources PREVAIL offers so you can succeed in growing your business and helping your students. You must train to reach your highest potential as you need to be capable of demonstrating the drills you’ll ask your students to perform. In order to demonstrate these drills, on demand, you’ll need confidence built from sufficient practice. Can you mess up a demo? Absolutely Not!

There is no set price for instructors to charge to administer the qualification. However, PREVAIL suggests a $150 fee plus range fees for each attempt session. The sessions can last up to 4 hours and the instructor is allowed to fit in as many attempts in that time.  We have found that a shooter will start to lose concentration after around 250 rounds fired.  Any attempts after that round count may be a waste of ammunition.

Because the test must be fired with hollow point/defensive ammunition these additional attempts will not be cost effective.  The shooter is allowed to attempt all the levels in one day’s testing session. The instructor may charge any fee for practice training sessions. These sessions may include the drills from this book, Practice PREVAIL Level Standards or other drills the instructor feels are beneficial. The drills from this manual are set up to help the student successfully complete the PREVAIL Standard.
