Founder - Lead Instructor: Bob Schneider

  Bob Schneider is in his fourth decade as a certified firearms instructor. His experience includes a highly decorated career with the Denver, Colorado Police Department. Bob was assigned to the Department’s full time SWAT Unit for 18 years. After retiring from Denver, Bob became a trainer with the world-famous Heckler and Koch International Training Division. There he was awarded the Trainer of the Year and eventually became the Director of Training.   After leaving HK, Bob went to work for the Sig Sauer Academy. He worked there for eight years teaching Armorers Classes. Bob helped to develop the GSR 1911 Armorers and Transition Course. Bob is currently an adjunct instructor at  Gunsite Academy where he is a Range Master.  Bob received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado.  Bob still lives in the Denver area with his sons Dylan and Jake.  

Lead Instructor: Steve Hendricks

Steve Hendricks' experience in the area of use of force includes over 40 years as a martial arts instructor, firearms Range Master and certified defensive tactics instructor. A retired Sheriff's Deputy, he has experience as a certified peace officer in California and Colorado serving in patrol, investigations, high risk warrant service, training, VIP protection and supervisor. He spent over seven years in Afghanistan as an instructor and Protective Security Specialist for the U.S. Embassy High Threat Protection Detail. He also spent two years with the U.S. Department of Energy, as their Lead Instructor for Firearms Instructor Certification, at the Central Training Academy. He has been an adjunct Instructor for the prestigious Gunsite Academy since 1991.  Steve is an avid hunter as well as an accomplished national level competitive shooter.


This pistol skills class will teach the student essential gun-handling skills and techniques. It will increase your ability and proficiency with a defensive handgun. This class is suitable for both beginning and advanced shooters.
